Seth's Antidote to Anxiety

I am beholden to a favorite guru, Seth Godin, who sent this into my emailbox this morning.
Last night I wrote to one of my original collectors, telling her of my day today.
My day today is all about putting my art out to sell this evening at a First Friday Art Walk inmy old hometown, Issaquah Washington.
My friend, the collector wrote a fan letter to me from her hospital bed in AZ. "You've got grit," she said. This was such a good thing for her to write, especially in these days of getting tired often, resting often, then doing the old "yo ho heave ho" stuff of getting ready for a street show.
Anxiety? Yes. Always. Even when I was doing a regular small town expo every week during the summer. The heavy lifting a distraction, but there was always that question: will they like it enough to buy it?
Here we go again. I am trying to write myself a fan letter: Starts with "Susan, you've got grit."
love,
